Quick & Easy Recipe: Classic Pancakes
Who doesn’t love a warm, fluffy stack of pancakes to kick off the day? This simple recipe is perfect for a cozy morning breakfast and takes only 15 minutes to make!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Mix the dry ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Combine wet ingredients: In another bowl, whisk the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Combine: Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry mixture, stirring until just combined (don’t overmix!).
- Cook: Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Pour about ¼ cup of batter onto the pan for each pancake. Cook until bubbles appear on the surface, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
